We went to Santa Cruz for Christmas Eve & spent it with Justin's family. They were all excited to meet their new cousin/niece/great grandchild. We had a good time. Everyone is just growing up so quickly.
Justin & I are entering a new decade of our lives this year. And our daughter is growing up quickly. It is great to have a place to keep people updated on our lives.

This little Piggy
Justin & I took Paige to a place where we could weigh her. She only eats for around 5 minutes at a time (Most eat around 15 minutes or more) so I am always concerned she is not eating enough. Two weeks and 2 days ago she weighed 7lbs 3oz. Today (with her clothes on) she weighed 9lbs 5oz. She is probably closer to 9lbs without her clothes, but she gained 2lbs in 2 weeks. Hopefully her weight gain will start slowing down a little bit! But for now she is good and healthy.

The littlest Patriot Fan
As most of you know, I am a huge Patriots fan and Justin is a huge Colts fan. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. But I have relatives in Boston and they buy me cute Patriots gear so they have an advantage over Justin.

My pretty new dress & first outing...
Paige will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. She is getting so big. I think we are going to take her to this place where we can weigh her soon so we can see that she is still eating as well as she should. She actually slept for a couple of 3 - 3 1/2 hour stretches the last couple of nights, so that helped us out a lot.
My belly button fell off and I took my first "Real" Bath

2 Weeks Old
Paige is now 2 weeks old. She is growing every day, and is a little more awake each day. Hopefully this will help her get her nights & days straight. She is a noisy sleeper which makes even the sleeping times difficult for mom & dad. But she is such a great baby so far. She only cries when she is hungry. Here are some more pics from the last couple of weeks. I can't get the video to upload, but I will try again later.

More pics of Paige
Everyone has been asking me for more pictures, but it has not been easy to get on to post them. We are still adjusting to the sleepless nights. But she is a really good baby. Just seems to be hungry a lot which is draining her mommy.

The Waiting Game
I have not updated in a long time. Sorry I do not have any pictures to post. I packed my camera in the hospital bag so have not been taking any. I will try to get some and post soon, but we will see.
We are in the 37th week and have approx. less than 3 weeks to go. Everyone keeps asking if I am ready. Maybe I am ready to stop being pregnant, but considering I can barely sleep now, I am not sure I am looking forward to what is coming. I know once I hold this beautiful baby in my arms for the first time, all of the fear and the pain will melt away (Or at least that is what I am told will happen). But until then, I just wait and fear the inevitable. 8 months ago it did not seem so big, but now that we are down to the "Any day now" mark and can't make any plans confidently, it all seems so scary. And there is no turning back.
We are pretty ready physically. Our nursery is overstocked (Still not sure what to do with some of the stuff). Our carseat has been tested by the police station and the swing is ready to go. But mentally, I do not think one can actually be ready.
I will let you know! Stay tuned.

More pics from the Shower
All of her grandchildren have full size blankets made with Love.
But her arthritis makes it hard. She was making this in Hawaii!
The book was written in the 40's and is impossible to find. This is the original book that we read every day. I can't wait to read it to Paige.
Baby Shower Fun
All the way from Watsonville
Faith & Gaven had a great time playing!

1st of 3 busy weekends in a row
This weekend seemed long and exhausting. And to think I have two more busy weekends ahead of me. On Saturday I went to my friend Julie's house for a Pool Party. She just remodeled her pool, but since it had been raining no one was swimming. But at least the rain had subsided and the sun had come out. We had good food and saw some old co-workers.
Saturday Night I hosted another Clothes Swapping Party. I usually have them about 2 times a year. This one was the biggest turnout yet with around 15 girls. We had a lot of fun as usual. But it was depressing seeing so many cute clothes that don't fit me anymore.
Sunday Morning I taught my two year old class at church. My sisters both had soccer pictures that morning, so I was by myself with 7 kids. But there were no kids crying and they were really fun. I can't believe next weekend will be my last weekend. I was looking forward to it because it is exhausting, but now I think I am going to miss it.
Sunday afternoon I went to Lydia's Bridal Shower. Wow did she get a lot of lingerie! The food was spectacular and it was beautiful. After the shower, Justin & I went to Denise's house for dinner. We had fun hanging out with Mike & Denise and also Chris & Dani. On the way we stopped at Tully's in Downtown Pleasanton so I could get steamed milk with Irish Cream flavoring. We ran into an old friend Evan. It was so nice catching up to him.
Today, the repair man came and fixed my oven. Then I went to Ross and found a shirt for my shower next weekend. At 5pm, Justin & I met a pediatrician. We really liked her, but we will see.
Things are going well. The baby is moving strongly now, but still not around other people. I hope that Justin gets to feel her before she is born. Above are pictures of my belly @ 30 weeks and my new china cabinet.
