October was especially hot and beautiful, until of course the day we planned to go to the pumpkin patch with a family group from church. That morning we woke up and it was raining. We were all discussing if we should go or not, but it was almost Halloween and I knew we would not have time to go again so we risked it. And it turned out to be a great decision. The rain stopped shortly after we got there. Then it was beautiful and there were not a lot of people there so it was perfect. Paige rode a pony, the train and a hayride and we both got lost in the "Corn" Maze (It was made of plastic since there is a drought). And we hung out with some good friends. So glad we went. Afterward we ended up at lunch with those friends at Sauced in livermore. We love this place because they have really good BBQ and FRIED PICKLES!
