10 Years

Justin & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on July 18th.  I can't believe it has already been 10 years (All though some days I feel like it has been FOREVER).   We wanted to do something special, but we were on a budget.   So we decided to go the Magic Mountain which is an amusement park I have never been to, and one Justin always wants to go back to.  He went when he was around 13 on his way back from his Mexico Mission Trip.  For those of you who don't know, while Justin and I knew of each other back in 7th grade summer camp, we officially met and became friends at our local amusement park Great America.  The best part is that Amusement parks are probably the only place in the world where I am a bigger Risk Taker than Justin.  And I love it!

We had a great time.  We got there at opening and we were able to ride a ton of rides with little to no wait.  But by the early afternoon lines started getting longer and we realized we are not spring chickens any more so we left early and headed back to our hotel!  I soaked my aching legs in the hot tub and it was nice.

We didn't take too many pictures but here are a few.

The next day, we actually kept driving south.   It was my sisters birthday and I couldn't be 2 hours away and not go visit!  So I planned a surprise visit with her Husband.  We waited for her at her church and came up behind her!  Loved the scream.   After church we got lunch and ate it at Ocean Beach.  We went for a walk on the beach and watched someone get baptized (Such a cool thing to just happen upon!).  Then we went to the place where you can get meatballs on one side (Soda & Swine) and Beer/drinks/sodas on the other (Polite Provisions).  After that we took a rest at their apartments before heading out to dinner.  We were going to eat at Corvette's diner but it was packed.  SO we walked a really long way to this place called Tender Greens.  It was good.  And then we walked back to Corvette's (Which is this cool 50 style diner) for milk shakes.  We were so full.   Sadly, the next Morning we had to drive home, but I will take any moments with my sisters.
