Helping Bring a little HOPE to Santa Cruz

Our church was able to partner with our other church in Santa Cruz this season.  We donated food and packed 313 boxes of shelf stable food, each including a $10 Safeway GC for perishables.  We also collected 1100 toys.  Justin helped load up the truck they brought up.  Even though we were unable to help at the actual event we were so blessed to take part in this, even in a small way.  Turns out, after the local Elementary school families came and picked out 2 toys for each child, wrapped them and got a box of food, there was so much left over that they were able to take the rest into a part of town that needs it and spread a little hope there too!
