September in a Nutshell

I started September off with outpatient surgery. Without going into too many details- I have a disease called Endometriosis. I was diagnosed with a laproscopic surgery back in 2002.I had it under "control" for a long time and even experienced pain free bliss for about a year after having Paige. But over the last year, the pain had come back. And it came back more often and worse. So we had another surgery to see if the disease had spread and to remove it if it had and hopefully bring me some relief. It had spread. But they were able to remove what they found. And hopefully I will get back to my normal lifestyle for a while.

Right after that was Justins Birthday. We had a lunch at my parents house since I was still recovering from surgery. And Justin got a prized license plate from my Grandparents.

A couple of weeks later we headed down to Justin's Grandmas house for her birthday celebration. Unfortunately, a couple of days before Justin took a fall on his mountain bike and he was pretty bruised up. We did however have a great time celebrating with his family. And of course were so excited to give her a birthday present that included an 11x13 canvas print from their camping trip earlier this year and a framed 8x10 pic from Tahoe. Sadly I am not in either pic, but it is rare for me to be in any pictures these days. Seems I am always behind the camera.

Paige & Justin "Camped out" in our front yard one night in September. They had a great time, but they did end up back inside!
