Grandma's 90th Birthday

Justin's grandma turned 90 today.  I can't believe it.   I had lost a couple of years and thought she was a tad younger than she is (She feels younger to us).  I wish I had found out this was such a big birthday sooner because I would have planned a bigger party.  One where we rented a hall and invited friends too (I assume she still has some!).  But we stuck with the family party.  She didn't want us to have it at the Ranch this year because it is hard with the cats.  The kids are always going in and out and they don't always shut the door, etc.   But it sounded like the whole family was coming (At least 14 total) and finding a restaurant that would work and still be affordable was a challenge.  So I decided on having a party at a park where the littles could play, we could bring a picnic lunch and have a good day.   And that we did.  It got a little chilly at the end, but we all hung out together, and laughed and I even got to place Bocce ball with my nephews so that was a good day!

Mikaila- All grown up

No pictures for this post yet.  But Kayla left two weeks ago for her Mission trip (9 long months).  She is in Guatemala now. I have to tell you, I didn't expect to cry like I did.  I cried a lot, for a few days.   I miss her so much.   I know God is going to do great things with her.  I think part of the reason I cried was because the Mikaila I know left and when she comes back, she will be changed.  There is no way this experience couldn't change her.   But I am happy and so proud too.  I love you K!

Justin's 35th Birthday

We had a nice family birthday party on his birthday and a small BBQ with friends that Saturday.  We bought lots of Sour Beers to try since they are his new favorite!
