Our Broken Bone scare.

Paige was playing on her scooter and took a fall.  After much debate we took her to the E.R.  She wasn't screaming or crying, but I think that was what scared us the most.  After the x-rays determined there was no obvious breaks, they put her in a splint and sent her home to be seen by her doctor the next day.  I think she loved all of the attention that she got.  A few days later the splint came off and she is back to normal, just a bruised or sprained elbow.  I have a feeling it won't be her last E.R. Visit.

Parents Day at TK

We went to Parents Day at Paige's TK class which included some cute songs and some gifts for us.  If you read my gift closely you will realize how funny (And partly not true) it is.

Pidgeon Family Olymics 2013

We were so blessed to have my Nana, my sister Chelsie, and her fiance Tony with us during Mother's Day Weekend/My Birthday!  But Paige had her nasty allergy cough again (She was on several Medications and inhalers) so we decided not to go too far or into public too much.  Chelsie came up with the Pidgeon Family Olympics and they were a lot of fun!

In preparation of the games, Justin filled water balloons, Tony/Dad cut the giant Jenga pieces, Paige decorated crowns, and the rest of us got things ready for lunch/dinner.

The first event was to come up with team names/signs.  Chelsie, TOny, Justin & I were the Honey Badgers, while Mom, Dad, Nana and Mikaila were the Wise Guys.  Paige was the helper for whichever team she wanted.

The next event was "Tall Towers"  We had to build the tallest tower out of Marshmallows, Graham Crackers and Fettucine. The Wise Guys Won.

Then we played pictionary.  Wise guys won again.

Nana brought Paige a little ring toss game which became our next event.  While my team did a little better, we still lost.

After Ring toss we ate some lunch.  Here is a list of games that were played and the score at the first break.

The after lunch Siesta almost became and event of its own.

After everyone had rested, we played Filled the bottle.  THe HOney badgers finally won one!

Next came the water balloon toss.  We won, but then decided to play twice more and and didn't fair as well.
The next event was the most fun/but most stressful!  GIANT JENGA.  It got almost as tall as Nana!

Then we took an ice cream break and headed to Cold Stone.  Paige rain off a little steam/sugar too.
Next was Bocce ball which I think we lost securing the win of the Wise Guys, but we played Guestures while dinner was on the grill.  Surprisingly Paige did great at Guestures.   While Paige took a bath, some of us played Bananagrams to finish off the night!
